Internet Telephony Service Providers

The Internet was founded in the late 1980’s, but it wasn’t until 1991 that it became commercially available. Once it did, the gold rush of technology exploded. Internet Service Providers began popping up en masse.

In the old days of business communications, things were pretty cut and dry – the telephone system folks sold the business phone system to the organization and the phone company provided the monthly calling service, phone numbers, and long distance service.
